OUR STORY

From Sagacious to Incisive

Our team specializes in Health IT, using technology to improve healthcare. Incisive, launched in 2018, focuses on optimizing the use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and guiding healthcare organizations through digital transformation.

Founded in 2009 as Sagacious Consultants, we quickly became a leading Epic consultancy known for our expert consultants and strong company culture. In 2015, we were acquired by Accenture, the world's largest multinational consulting organization.

Today, healthcare organizations are adapting to the post-pandemic "new normal" by embracing technology and driving change. Incisive Consultants supports this transition, guiding organizations through digital transformations to improve patient outcomes.

Health IT leaders worldwide advocate for a digital approach to healthcare services to address rising costs, limited accessibility, and resource demands. Incisive Consultants, established in 2018, assists healthcare organizations in shaping their IT roadmap for effective and cost-efficient digital transformations.

Founded by former Accenture leaders Chris Blackerby, John Freeman, and Kyle Adams, Incisive Consultants leverages innovation and emerging technology to serve global healthcare organizations. They offer guidance in digital transformation, Revenue Cycle optimization, operational transformation, and staff augmentation, building on their expertise in Epic EHR consulting services.

To ensure Incisive Consultants keeps its innovative edge, they brought on former Epic Systems employee and Sagacious founder, Shane Adams, to lead brand strategy and innovation in 2020. Most recently, the Incisive team brought on Adam Schultheis as our Director of Digital Health.
