Meet Our Revenue Cycle Lead
Corey is a Michigan Man, born and raised in metro-Detroit. Within minutes of meeting Corey, you’ll have to endure hearing him brag about his doctor-wife and his equally smart and beautiful little girls. With the little bit of free time most parents of young kids enjoy, Corey and his family like to spend time in their garage gym, walking on nature trails near their home, and visiting with nearby family. Corey likes to take a short midday walk with his German shepherd to get out of his home office and give his mind time to wander. He often produces some of his best ideas on those walks!
Corey started his career with a short stint as an entrepreneur – he completed a 4-month consulting project with a local paving company and transformed their operational procedures regarding downtime for paving trucks. Corey then went on to join Epic Systems as a project manager on their Revenue Cycle implementation team. While at Epic, Corey formalized and implemented a company-wide mentorship program, led an internal process improvement workgroup, and was a member of a tiger team assigned to clients struggling with revenue cycle operations after go-live. After leaving Epic to move back to Michigan, Corey joined Sagacious Consultants in 2013. Corey helped grow the Strategic Revenue practice at Sagacious and was a member of the leadership team that helped guide the firm through assimilation into Accenture after the acquisition in 2015.
Before joining Incisive, Corey was a Senior Manager at Accenture and a leader of the firm’s provider Revenue Cycle practice. He was responsible for delivering value to clients, growing revenue for the firm, and developing the people within the practice. At Incisive, Corey is focused on growing the firm’s presence in the industry through establishing Incisive as a trusted partner for healthcare clients and diversifying its services. Corey aspires to be a servant leader that creates a motivating and enabling environment for his team members to succeed.
