Our VP of Talent, Cara Hodgson, sat down with Senior Consultant, Jesus Gonzalez, to ask him about what keeps bringing him back to the Epic space year-over-year, how our clients can better partner with their consultants, and to learn a little more about what he likes to do when he steps away from the system.

This spring, Incisive Consultants made their first booth debut at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in Chicago for an opportunity to learn and connect with industry leaders and professionals on the exciting future of healthcare. The Incisive team decided to shift their presence from the typical booth swag and flashy attractions and did something different to give back.

After a company-wide campaign to collect funds and increase awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) raised almost $15,000, Incisive was invited to visit the Johns Hopkins Department of Neurology research facility in November 2022 by the Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Chris Blackerby has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2023 edition of the “Black healthcare leaders to know” list.

On August 23, 2022, our Incisive team hosted Cocktails for a Cause at the Edgewater Hotel in Madison, WI during Epic’s User Group Meeting (UGM). Cocktails for a Cause was a charitable event aimed to raise awareness and funds in support of the non-profit organization Maydm.

Each year Incisive hosts Charitable September. Dedicating the entire month of September to charity, we choose to bring awareness to and support causes that are near and dear to the hearts of our employees. 

On November 2, 2022, Incisive Consultants visited Maydm Inc. at their headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin to teach girls and minority students about the opportunities and potential challenges in the field of healthcare IT.
